Services offered by Nicks Tyres
A locking wheel nut key is required to remove the alloy wheels from you vehicle. If this has been lost or your vehicle wasn't supplied with one, this will result in a tyre change taking longer to complete.
If either of your car number plates is cracked, broken, faded or has marks obscuring the letters and numbers, then they're illegal and need to be replaced. Luckily Wotton Tyres is here to help - we can make you some shiny new or replacement registration plates for your car while you wait. We can also make you an extra set of car number plates if you're towing, or using a rear-mount cycle carrier.
To ensure the smooth running of your vehicle it should be serviced once a year. A full service includes series of maintenance checks including an oil change. Any issues due to wear and tear will also be noted should any further work be required.
Since November 2012 all new vehicles are fitted with a TPMS - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Let us check the health of your TPMS system. We'll let you know if any of your valves need replacing or if there are any other issues that need to be rectified.
Driving over a foreign object can result in a reduction in tyre pressure and eventually a completely flat tyre. Depending on the damage some tyres can be repaired. **This excludes run flat tyres**
The Tyre Check service inspects the condition of your tyres including wear and any damage sustained.
If your wheel balance is incorrect, this will cause vibration in the steering wheel and dashboard as well as prematurely wearing your tyres and suspension parts. Over time, bumps and cornering will affect your wheel balance so it is recommended to have them balanced regularly.
